Colson Baker (or Machine Gun Kelly) is famous for his distinct style of his rapping. Baker was born in Houston in Texas on the 22nd of April of 1990. He was born into a German as well as an English Scottish family. His parents were missionaries. During his childhood the Bakers traveled extensively with them. James Colson Baker, his father, struggled with depression as well as unemployment. Her mother Sonia Alane had left him at the age of nine. After that, Baker along with his father moved to Denver where they lived with his father's aunt. Baker's lack of resources was a reason for the bullying of children in the area. Baker has recorded four mixtapes during between 2007 and 2010, prior to joining Bad Boy Records. The Cleveland rapper, who delivers lyrics as fast as bullets, saw a meteoric climb in late 2011, after he shifted from self-publishing mixtapes to being signed to reputable labels. From there his career skyrocketed every album charting within the top ten.
