Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis St. Louis, Missouri. She performed in The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia conferred her with a BA (with honors) in Communications and Theatre. After moving from Missouri to Los Angeles in 2004, she was involved in theatre arts. This included acting as well as directing in more than 20 musicals. A few of the productions include The Little Foxes Brady Bunch : The Musical Peter Pan for the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. Kelly began landing television and film roles while she was studying the art of improvisation through The Groundlings. She also joined Theatre West. Her unique voice with her small stature enabled Kelly to come up with a diverse range of colorful characters. She has worked with Naomi Watts in The Ring 2 as the evil Samara, but she is better known as the bright and bubbly receptionist from Two and a Half Men. Between 2011 and 2015, Kelly played a paralegal at-day/party hopper at-night as a Series Regular for the TV Land sitcom The Exes. Additionally, she played the sassy sister of Alyssa in ABC's Romantically Challenged. On the The CW's No Tomorrow she portrayed the mother of a stressed suburban family. She has lent her soprano singing voice to several cartoons such as Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. Her most recent performance was as the dim and charming Cloud 9 staffer on NBC hit comedy Superstore. She's married to two kids, and has a peaceful home. She likes to write, sew and volunteer at schools.
